We leave at 9:45 SHARP -- so get your butt there early
THE PLAN:
A moderately-fast (3ish mph) paced hike through the trails at Waterloo Rec with multiple short breaks along the way.
MEETING SPOT:
We will be meeting at the first parking lot after you enter the area -- it has the outhouse.
DOGS:
Allowed on leashes
BATHROOMS:
Only at the trailhead... none along the trail. There are plenty of tree and you will have time to visit them.
SHORTER HIKE:
Around 8ish miles there will be an easy way to get back to the parking lot
COSTS:
If you have a Michigan Recreation Pass: nothing.
If you do not have a Michigan Recreation Pass: $19 (and a Michigan Recreation Pass included so you don't have to pay again... until the next time you renew tabs on your car)
OTHER QUESTIONS:
I would be delighted to answer your non-last-minute questions. However, last minute panicked questions because you are lost will likely not be answered. Please, factor in to your drive some getting lost-and-refound time.
