Hiking in Waterloo Rec -- 12ish miles, 4.5ish hours

We are leaving at 9:45 SHARP (so get there early)

THE PLAN:
A 12ish mile hike through the more remote and hilly trails in Waterloo Rec. The hike will be done at a moderately-fast pace (~3 mph) with multiple small breaks along the way.

*** WARNING -- PARKING IS NOT EASY TO FIND ***
The lot is on the east side off Baldwin Road about 0.4 miles south of Seymour Road. It is a two-track road that looks like a hidden driveway -- here is the street view:

It is easier to spot the semi-circular drive across the street

DOGS:
Yes, on a leash

BATHROOMS:
There are no bathrooms at the trailhead. We will pass two sets along the trail.

SHORTER HIKE:
This trail is a big loop so doing a shorter hike would be tricky.

COSTS:
If you have a Michigan Recreation Pass: nothing.

If you do not have a Michigan Recreation Pass: $19 (and a Michigan Recreation Pass included so you don't have to pay again... until the next time you renew tabs on your car)

OTHER QUESTIONS:
I will be happy to answer any non-last-minute questions. However, last minute panicked questions because you are lost will likely not be answered. So, please, factor into your drive some extra getting lost time.
