Ludington Bike and Beer Tour

**Sub-Event of the MAC Camping Event June 18th-21st, 2026 in Ludington, MI. It is approximately 4 hours from the Detroit Area. All are welcome to join even if not camping.**
What:
Biking Event: Let’s get out and enjoy the Lake Michigan shoreline scenery via two (three? E?) wheels! We’ll stop at a downtown Ludington brewery on the return trip for a refreshment break.
When:
Friday, June 19th 9:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Length: 25 Miles approximately. Pace = 12 mph
Where:
Meet at the Ludington State Park Camp Store near the Cedar Campground.
Route: Ride South out of Ludington State Park enjoying the shoreline of Lake Michigan. Route will take us into the City of Ludington where we will ride through a couple of City parks, before looping back North back to the park. This route is all road riding, and we will be sharing the road with cars.
Notes:
- Arrive at the camp store by 9:45 a.m. so we can do introductions and take care of any last-minute items. We will start pedaling at 10 a.m.
- Please ensure that your bike is in good riding shape, including proper tire inflation, working brakes and chains.
- Helmets are to be worn. While this route will have bike lanes, it will also be on roads with motor vehicles.
- Pace will be 12-14 mph. It’s not a race, but neither will it be a slow crawl.
- Be a courteous rider. It isn’t that hard.
- Any changes to the schedule due to weather will be communicated through this event page.
