Hiking Ludington State Park (11ish miles)

This activity is part of the MAC Camping Event to Ludington, MI and is approximately 4 hours from the Detroit Area. All are welcome to join even if not camping.

This hike starts at 10am SHARP! It is about a 11 mile hike through most of the trails at Ludington. These trails are pretty hilly and this is a fairly tough hike.

Meeting Spot:
Jackpine campgound -- at the outhouses. This is the backcountry campground and is at least a 1 mile walk for anyone in the front campgrounds (Pines, Beechwood, and Cedar). However, we will be passing the front campgrounds on the way back so you do not have to backtrack at the end.

On the trail map, Jackpine is between points 5 (Coast Guard rail) and 6 (Lighthouse).
