### What is pleb.fi?
Plebfi is a 24-hour bitcoin hackathon! The theme for this event is "metaprotocols", which are frameworks that extend bitcoin's functionality on layer 1. Topics will include runes, BRC20, alkanes, and taproot assets.
Come network with local bitcoin companies and developers. We're also offering $6,000 in cash prizes across three tracks!
## When?
July 26-27 at the Port in Miami. The specific address of the event will be revealed after you purchase a ticket.
## Apply to Attend (Tickets)
Apply to become a hackathon participant by clicking “apply now”. If approved, we’ll send you an email to buy tickets through luma. address of the event will be revealed once a ticket is purchased.
ticket prices will be:
- $30 for early bird (before July 18)
- $60 regular (July 18+)
