1st Miami Hardware Meetup @ Moonlighter Fablab | Prototype to Scale

Details

After running 100+ hardware meetups across other cities, we’re excited to kick off the hardware community in Miami with our very first meetup 🎉!

Join us for an evening to meet other professionals in hardware, hear from experts across international supply chain management, as well as get a chance to share what you’re working on with our open mic time. Our goal is to help build meaningful relationships across founders, funders, engineers, and different experts all building physical things.

Shout out to our sponsor Sento Electronics Scaling Hub, which helps startups and technology-based companies scale their electronic products with comprehensive engineering, assembly, and supply chain management services.

Thank you to our venue partner Moonlighters Fablab, a creative coworking space and fabrication lab in Miami Beach, for hosting us.

We have a great group of guest speakers:

  • Laurel Cummings is the CEO of Hold Fast Labs and an electrical engineer with a focus in rapid prototyping- leveraging commonly available hardware to provide creative and effective solutions for her clients, whether they need a bespoke solution or are in the exploratory stages of an R&D project. She uses her experience in hardware and fabrication to solve problems for clients around the globe, is often found on the ground during disaster response missions, and provides training in this fast-evolving field of "austere engineering".
  • Wouter Potman is a Supply Chain Expert originally from the Netherlands with an impressive background at Dutch multinationals Heineken and DSM. He now resides in Colombia, where he serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Sento Electronics Scaling Hub. His dedication to helping startups navigate the complexities of scaling their electronic products has made him an essential part of the company's success.
