This session explores building AI-related solutions with Java, leveraging popular open-source frameworks such as Hibernate Vector, Spring AI, and LangChain4J. We’ll explore design patterns such as RAG, agentic AI, and vector search for storing, querying, and retrieving vector embeddings.

We will explore how to implement vector search for a range of AI-driven applications, with practical examples backed by Oracle Database and code samples that can be easily modified to use any vector database, as the concrete implementations are interface (contract)- oriented.
