This is the monthly meeting of the Libertarian Party of Miami-Dade County. This is our in-person meeting. Here Libertarians discuss current event and plan for action. We meet every second Tuesday of the month.
What can the LP Miami organization do?
The limit is only your imagination. We can use our presence as the "third largest political party" as a bully pulpit to sound off on issues of the day and organize citizen-lobbying to influence policy in a liberty direction.
Here are few reasonable ideas for action:
Letters to the editor or press releases on current events;
Coordinate with LP candidates or recruit candidates;
Conduct polling or surveying candidates and voters;
Influence policy decisions by speaking with policymakers in private or at public meetings; and
Community service projects (such as waterfront, park or street clean-up, filling potholes, student outreach).
Many libertarians (in an out of the party) joined a broad coalition of medical freedom, limited government reform and drastically reduced government to decide the outcome of the presidential election. This decision comes with responsibility to maintain a presence on these shared issues. Like the year before, when Javier Milei became the first Libertarian head of state. It means that libertarians have a historic opportunity to share libertarianism and introduce a different political structure.
