Kendall Homeowners Host "In One Room -- Together!" Forum

Dear Miami Libertarians!

I grew up in an America that had a vibrant debate society. In this America, the people automatically distrusted anyone who avoided debates as hiding their opinions of what they would do if given power. Charlie Kirk was a campus crusader for public discourse. He thought the solution to bad speech was more good speech. Tragically, his good intentions were met with an assassin's bullet in front of his wife and young children.

I am not here to denounce anyone. I think that is counterproductive when there are plenty people out there playing the blame game already. Instead, I am joining a peaceful discourse event "In One Room -- Together!" hosted by the Kendall Federation of Homeowner Associations ("KFHA").

The Kendall Federation of Homeowner Associations ("KFHA") has hosted political forums for decades...We invite the candidates...We ask the questions...The Kendall Federation PAC makes endorsements...The people vote...This time we're going to do something different -- we're not inviting candidates (but they're welcome to participate) -- we're inviting YOU!.........

We've all read the news, heard the news, watched the news; and the conclusion is that it is impossible to have a civil, polite, courteous, well-mannered meeting with groups of people that have opposing political ideas...The "rumor" is that Democrats, Independents, Libertarians & Republicans simply cannot be in the same room together without some sort of histrionics, hysteria, screaming, arguments and a meeting that would end with total chaos.

The leaders of various political parties have been invited. The FIU College Democrats' President (Alexandria Gopee), the FIU College Republicans' President (Daniella Dieppa), the Miami-Dade County's Democratic Party Chair (Laura Kelley) and the Libertarian Party Chair (Hector Roos) have confirmed attendance. The Republican Chair is awaiting confirmation.

You are welcome to bring a friend or two. The event will be catered by Mike's Italian. Consider joining us at the event and showing your support! Audience questions are welcome.
