Node.js for IoT App Creation and Gesture Recognition

Hi all:

I'm excited to announce that we have a series of nice meetups coming up this summer, in partnership with the AdMobilize team. During these meetups, we will learn how to develop on top of their cool MATRIX (http://matrix.one/#/matrix/index) device using node.js.

The meetups will be very hands-on so make sure to bring your laptops with the latest node.js version installed.

For our June meetup, Willlem Prins & Patricia Reyes will talk to us about using node.js for Internet of Things apps & how to use gesture.ai (http://gesture.ai/) to implement gesture recognition in Javascript.

The outline of their talk is the following:

1. Present the MATRIX ecosystem

2. Introduction to http://gesture.ai

3. Download the SDK

4. Hands on activity with gesture recognition.
