Thanksgiving Potluck!

Let's get together to practice our Portuguese and make friends on Saturday November 23rd at Margaret Pace Park.

One of the best holidays in the US is coming up, Thanksgiving or Dia da Ação de Graças. This holiday is all about coming together, collaborating with the best our diverse cultures have to offer, and giving thanks for all the wonderful blessings life offers us. This group has always been about embracing diverse cultures, so what better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than with a potluck (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potluck) together!

Each Tagarela is encouraged to bring an item to share with the group. When you RSVP to attend, please write a note to the group letting us know if you plan to bring something, so we do not bring too much of one thing.

The park is spacious with volleyball, basketball, dog park, so bring along any recreational activities and pets. The park is not far from the Metromover, and there is some street parking throughout the area.

This invitation will go out to another Meetup group called Miami Downtown Dining. These members may not have the same level of interest in Portuguese, however it will be an opportunity to make further connections within our wonderful community.
