ABOUT TALK

Reading code can be difficult. We almost learn how to write code before even knowing how to read and understand it!
Join our coding reading session with Maddie Campos and learn some tips and techniques for ultimately building that mental model that is the building block to implementing features, fixing bugs, or simply learning a new programming language.

ABOUT SPEAKER

Maddie has worked as a Software Developer, focusing on back-end, for the past 7 years. She was introduced to Python at her last job, 4 years ago, and has continued on the Python path, focusing on developing in the Django framework. Prior to that, she worked in Ruby, JavaScript, and even knows a bit of C (just a bit).

She holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music Performance, and finds Software Development very similar to her past career in music, and just as satisfying.

This event will be co-hosted with our friends over at PyLadies SWFL and Python SWFL.
