What we’re about
I'm Pedro de los Rios, also known as the "Godfather of Bachata in Miami." I took a hiatus from this group during the COVID-19 pandemic when everything was closed. I spent several months living in Europe but returned in August 2020.
I founded Miami Sensual Bachata eight years ago, marking the inception of Sensual Bachata in Miami. From the very beginning, we attracted a large and enthusiastic crowd. In 2015, Miami had very little Bachata presence, with only a few songs played at social events, mostly consisting of old-school classics.
Today, we have a thriving Bachata community, one of the largest in the USA. We host at least four to five Bachata congresses every year, along with daily Bachata classes and events.
Our team continues to expand with more teachers, dancers, and members of our dance family joining our lessons and socials.
We eagerly anticipate seeing you soon!
