​Speaker Bio:

​Maja Vujinovic was a pioneer in global payments and in 2005, went on to acquire and develop $700M mobile and energy assets across Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. This led her to Bitcoin and DLT in 2010 and since, has been an avid builder and an investor in fintech and digital assets.

​In 2013, Maja already an investor in BTC and helped buy a first bank for Tether. In 2014, as a CIO of Emerging Tech at General Electric. Maja catalyzed blockchain across all General Electric and developed a first architecture for “blockchain as a service” across global enterprises for GE and its customers. Through such work, the first trade finance deal was settled, between JP Morgan and GE, on blockchain.

​Currently, Maja runs OGroup focused on investments and scale of technology tools such as AI and blockchain and bridging a gap between legacy systems and web 3 tools.
​OGroup is also partnered with number of family offices helping them navigate emerging tech, acquisitions and implementation of generative AI and smart contracts. Maja is on the board of Longevity Science Foundation, Civic, Prism partners and Coindesk and a frequent speaker at Money2020, Financial Times, Blockworks, FII Institute, LA token summit, Abudance 360 and Davos.
