Do you want to gain a deeper understanding of the Bitcoin Lightning Network? Join us for a group reading of the forthcoming book Mastering the Lightning Network. We will take each chapter one week at a time (or longer if needed) and support each other as we learn.
This group is for anyone who is interested in learning about the Lightning Network. This is not necessarily for Bitcoin beginners, but also not for Bitcoin experts -- you simply need to have a will to learn. Week One We will start by discussing chapter one and doing introductions. Please read Chapter 1 before arriving.
This is an informal meetup -- you'll never be quizzed at this meetup, but you may have trouble following along in later chapters if you don't keep up with the reading! About the Book Mastering the Lightning Network is an O'Reilly Media book, due for publication later in 2021, and announced in August 2019 by authors Andreas M. Antonopoulos (@aantonop), Olaoluwa Osuntokun (@roasbeef), Rene Pickhardt (@renepickhardt). While the print version will not be ready until September, we are going to begin by reading the version on GitHub.
