Bar Bucce
Details
Bar Bucce feels like its own little village, buzzing with like-minded fans of eating fancy meats and cheeses in tank tops. The restaurant, which comes from the same team behind Macchialina, tested its pizza dough recipe for half a decade. It tastes like it. The menu changes slightly between lunch and dinner. Panini and pizza by the slice fly out from the deli counter during the day. At night, the sandwiches and slices leave to make room for grilled octopus or lamb skewers. Their antipasti, whole pizzas, and charcuterie are always available.
Most of the action at Bar Bucce is outside on the patio, where trains mere feet away scare the piss out of adults and thrill toddlers roughly every 15 minutes. Because you're not tethered to a server or table, you can join the friends you'll inevitably run into at theirs. If it's a sunny
93-degree day, the retractable roof will be up to provide some shade.
