Shark Valley at Everglades National Park

Turns out Anhinga trail is closed (Thanks Dan!)

We'll meet at Shark Valley instead.

I only scheduled the formal meetup for a couple of hours but we'll probably be there most of the day.

Park entrance is $20 per vehicle or $40 for an annual pass. I'll probably get the pass. The park service offers a lifetime pass (for all national parks) for anyone over 62 for $10. This can be purchased as the park when you arrive.

Add comments if you want to meet someplace outside the park and ride in together and maybe we can save some money.

Bring good outdoor gear and supplies - water, snacks, bug spray, sun protection, sturdy shoes and clothes etc.

Be sure you are ok getting up close and personal with giant primeval reptiles.
