Miami Photo Walks #013: Exploring the Everglades

Join us in exploring a local gem: Everglades National Park. This is a must visit if you want to experience what Miami has to offer. Even cooler, it's National Public Lands Day! This means that the entry fees are waived, and admission is FREE. (if we participate in any excursions, all fees will be noted beforehand)

The Everglades, one of 3 of Miami's National Parks, is a unique and expansive wilderness in southern Florida, often called a “river of grass.” Tall marsh grasses + incredible wildlife, alligators + colorful wading birds, these views make it a one-of-a-kind place to explore and photograph, drawing visitors from around the world.

We are still confirming whether we will be doing any specific activities/which entrance we will be going to/any fees. That being said, please check back for updates!

Dress: Cover up! It is still considered the wet season, and you want to protect yourself from mosquitos. Suggested to wear long but breathable clothing + a hat!
Keep in mind weather (heat/rain)

What to bring:
Camera (or any type - e.g. digital camera, phone, film camera, GoPro, etc, but this walk is film focused),
Camera Bag/Camera Strap,
Bug repellent,
Sunscreen,
Water,
An open mind + great attitude!
