Miami Photo Walks #023: Alphabet Hunt in Downtown Miami

What if the alphabet was hiding in plain sight? Join us for a photowalk through one of our favorite neighborhoods, Downtown Miami, where architecture, street life, and everyday details become part of a creative visual hunt.

We will explore the downtown streets with fresh eyes, searching for letters hidden in architectural lines, storefronts, signage, shadows, patterns, and the shapes of the urban landscape. Beyond a photo walk, this is an exercise of observation, composition, and creative storytelling. Experiment with framing, perspective, light, contrast, and texture as you turn ordinary city details into compelling images.

The challenge? Discover the letters all around you. The art? Show us how you see it.

You could by a hobbyist, seasoned photographer or just love the experience of capturing images on your phone. All levels are welcome! Come ready to explore + connect with fellow creatives.

🗺 Agenda 🗺

7:00 AM: Meet up with your local photographers at Starbucks at Miami Central. Close landmarks: Metromover and Government Center. Street parking is nearby.

7:30AM - 9:30AM: the hunt begins! from letters hidden in plain sight, to the ones you can't ignore, this is where you get creative.

9:45-10:00 AM: head back to Starbucks with the crew.

Dress: Comfortable wear for up to 3 hours of casual walking.
Keep in mind weather (heat/rain)

What to bring:
Camera (any type - e.g. digital camera, phone, film camera, GoPro, etc)
Camera Bag/Camera Strap,
Sunscreen,
Water,
An open mind + great attitude!
