Michiana Astronomical Society Meeting
Details
We meet on the third Thursday monthly at the South Bend Technology Resource Center at 7:00pm ET. It's located near the intersection of Franklin and Garst, near South Bend Police Department. The address is
1165 Franklin St. #100 South Bend, IN 46601.
We also offer the meeting online via Webex. Notify Bruce Miller to get an invitation.
Michiana Astronomical Society is a not-for profit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 1974 to promote the observation and understanding of the cosmos.
Most of the meetings have a presentation, followed by a discussion of recent and upcoming events in astronomy and space exploration. We host a large annual star party that attracts attendees from a three-state area. We also participate in many public outreach events, including Science Alive! and Kemil Beach public observing. If you need help using your telescope, want to see through some large scopes, or want to learn more about astronomy, join us!
