What we’re about
The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
We meet weekly to practice our impromptu and public speaking skills in a positive, supportive, fun and friendly environment.
WHY JOIN? Michigan Avenue Toastmasters a President’s Distinguished Club, known as the most social Toastmasters chapter in the city! Our members consist of professionals that reside in the downtown area. Come to a meeting as a guest and you will find out why! The diversity of our membership is what makes our club so dynamic, motivating, exciting and successful. We provide a supportive, positive learning environment so that every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which, in turn, foster self-confidence and personal growth. We also schedule events so our members can network and cultivate relationships.
