This family-friendly night out in Detroit is sure to be a hoot 🦉
Join us at the Belle Isle Nature Center for Nature at Night: Winter Owl Prowl on Jan. 29 from 6–8 p.m. Enjoy hands-on activities and guided walks to search for owls, hosted in partnership with the Michigan DNR Outdoor Adventure Center. Warm up by an outdoor fire and experience Belle Isle after dark.
Owls play an important role in Detroit’s urban ecosystem, helping control rodent populations and signaling environmental health. This event is a chance to connect with these quiet nighttime neighbors and the biodiversity found right here in the city.
Recommended for ages 8 and older. Admission is free.
