MiCUP June 2025 Conveyances

June. Graduations, Weddings, vacations, travel! Once just trains, planes and automobiles getting around has changed. Bicycles, jet skis, motorcycles, skateboards, roller blades and even just feet on the trail. All these things are conveyances. Ways of getting from here to there. So, this month we hit the road, trail, waters, sky or your choice. Our songs are about the means of transport. From the Big Yellow Taxi picking up your old man, to strapping on your "Brand New Pair of Roller Skates." "Leaving on a Jet Plane" or deciding to "Walk 500 Miles."

We will be in person at the Okemos Branch CADL Library and on Zoom.

You will see the preliminary song list below. The preliminary song set will be posted on our Google Drive and updated as new or different songs come in. Songs can be submitted but must be in Word Doc or PDF form. Cell phone pictures of crumpled song sheets cannot be used. Our strums are great place to lead a song in person or via Zoom. We do not project our charts so they must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the strum through this link: Submit song sheets
