Japanese Tea Ceremony ($10/person) - RSVP by 2 PM on 5/10 to Secure Your Spot!

Let's experience a Japanese tea ceremony at "one of a very few authentic Japanese teahouses in the United States" (Pure Michigan)! For this event, we will go to the Japanese Cultural Center and Tea House in Saginaw. Our event will include the demonstration of the tea ceremony followed by Matcha green tea and Japanese sweets. We will also get to have a conversation with Masumi, the director of the Center! The cost for the event is $10 per person. RSVP by 2 PM on 5/10 to secure your spot!

More info about the venue: "The Tea House was built in 1985-86 as as a symbol of friendship and cultural exchange with Saginaw's Sister City, Tokushima, Japan. Tea ceremony is the 2nd Saturday of each month. It also offers garden and teahouse tours daily and a variety of programs and festivals showcasing Japanese arts and culture attracting thousands of visitors from the Great Lakes and Bay Regions and beyond" (Pure Michigan).
