Pedals Without Prayer is a welcoming cycling group for atheists, agnostics, humanists, skeptics, and anyone who enjoys good company on two wheels.

Our mission is simple: ride, eat, and have fun. We believe staying active is good for both the body and the mind, and that some of the best conversations happen while cruising down the trail or sharing a meal afterward.

Whether you're an experienced cyclist chasing miles or someone who just enjoys a casual ride, you'll find a friendly, judgment-free community here. Our rides emphasize safety, encouragement, and enjoying the journey—not racing to the finish line.

After every ride, we'll gather at a local restaurant, brewery, café, or ice cream shop to refuel, relax, and get to know each other. No sermons. No pressure. Just good people, good food, and great rides.

What you can expect:

  • 🚴 Casual and moderate group rides
  • 🍔 Food and drinks after every ride
  • 🌳 Scenic routes throughout Michigan
  • 🤝 A welcoming, inclusive atmosphere
  • 💪 A focus on health, fitness, and friendship

Come for the ride. Stay for the food. Leave with new friends.
