Whether you're exploring Web3 for the first time or already building in it, this talk will challenge assumptions and spark new ideas about what decentralized networks can do.
DePIN: The Rise of Decentralized Infrastructure
What if everyday people—not governments or tech giants—built the networks powering our world? That’s the promise of DePIN: Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks. It’s currently the fastest-growing movement in crypto, and it’s not just theoretical—it’s already happening.
This talk will break down what DePIN is, why it matters, and how it’s flipping the script on who builds and owns real-world infrastructure. We’ll discuss how it’s already powering real-world systems like global sensor networks and smart vehicle fleets. We’ll also look at how traditional companies are beginning to pay for access to these community-built networks, signaling that the shift is already underway.
From earning rewards to reshaping industries, DePIN is where crypto gets physical.MEET THE EXPERT

He was elected by the Helium community to chair the Helium Mobile Working Group, where he leads weekly strategic discussions on the network’s technical development, economic sustainability, and long-term growth.
Before entering the decentralized tech space, Jeremy worked in public policy as a staff member in both the U.S. House and U.S. Senate, and was elected to serve as a City Commissioner in Royal Oak, Michigan.
