What we’re about
Welcome Michiganders - those who lived in Michigan, were born and raised, or just love the Mitten State. We'll meet regularly to network, socialize, and share stories of how much we don't miss the snow-filled winters! This group is for Michiganders who are transplants to San Diego, whether you have lived in Southern California a few weeks, a few years, or a few decades.

We will get together or host events every 2 - 3 months.
There are no dues, members pay for their portion of any event.
Group was started by Bethany Carlson. I moved to San Diego in 2015 after finally getting away from the winter. I love meeting fellow Michiganders, and I created this group as a way to meet new people, make friends, and network while sharing stories of times in the mitten.
We'll do our first event after the New Year, but wanted to get the group going now so we can build up some interest!
