MicroPython Meetup at CCHS

Details
[Please note the date change! The November Meetup has been pushed back a week, to the 29th.]
We've got a couple of big talks this month! Join us at the CCHS or remotely on zoom. Doors will open at 6:30pm, the stream and talks to begin at 7:15pm. The sessions will be recorded and they'll be hosted on the MicroPython YouTube channel. International guests, please check the time in your timezone. For those meeting in-person, pizzas will be organised - please chip-in $10 if you're interested.
Many of you know Andy Gelme; Andy will be talking about his distributed services framework built with MicroPython. Machine Learning will almost certainly be involved...
Tim Hanewich is going to share details about Scout, the quadcopter he developed using MicroPython. It's an amazing project and Tim has already written a fantastic 12-part series on the development; I can't wait to hear more! Tim will be joining us remotely from the US where it will be very early for him (thanks Tim!).
We'll aim to start the talks at 7:15pm; I'll keep the news roundup down to just a couple of headlines to make room for the main talks. Andy will get started at 7:20ish. Tim is set to begin around 8pm.
These may be longer sessions than usual but I think you'll agree they'll be worth it!
Beginners and first-timers are always welcome, bring a laptop if you can and we'll supply some hardware for you to use.
