Maxim Fateev (Uber): Cadence workflow engine
Cadence enables a novel way of writing complex distributed applications. It is perfect for the high scale service orchestration. Cadence has been running in production at Uber for over two years and used by over hundred different teams. Cadence is open sourced under permissive MIT license and its external adoption is growing. Among the users are BanzaiCloud, HashiCorp, Box.com and LinkedIn. Maxim is the original tech lead of the Cadence project. Before Uber he worked at Amazon, Google and Microsoft.
