This meetup is about Microservices, and everything related to it. We discuss Software Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Event-driven Architecture, Domain-driven Design, Event Sourcing, CQRS, Kubernetes, Team Topologies, Wardley Maps, and more.
From architecture patterns to continuous delivery, from log-based message busses to cloud platforms, everything around building scalable, resilient applications, leveraging cloud services or not, can be presented and talked about in this meetup.
It's about talks and presentations from the community, for the community. So please submit a talk and volunteer as a speaker! Talks can be held in English or German, whatever the speaker prefers.
We are trying to be an inclusive meetup and expect all members to follow the Berlin Code of Conduct.
Why is the group private?
There was a time when there was quite a bit of distracting activity in meetup groups. Discussions would be used to spam members with sex ads, or people would "Zoom bomb" meetings. To avoid this, and also to create a "safe space" where people can ask questions without them appearing in search results, the decision was to make the group private. Still everyone can join. In hindsight, maybe it creates a barrier for new people and wasn't such a great idea after all. But, once a group is private, it can not be made public, so now we're stuck with this.
