Serverless Extravaganza

It’s time for the last microservices meetup of the year, and we’ll have a full night of serverless focused talks from Yan Cui and Paul Johnston.

The event will start at 7pm and we’ll be at Federation House once again. We'll enjoy some pizza and drinks before talks start, so there will be time to mingle with other attendees.

Speakers:

Yan Cui is an experienced Principal Engineer at DAZN and the author of book Production Ready Serverless. He has worked with AWS for nearly 10 years, and worked extensively with AWS Lambda in production for the last 2 years.

Yan will be giving his talk titled “Serverless in production: an-experience report”.

Paul Johnston is a CTO and strategist who has particular interests in serverless, cloud, startups and climate change. Formerly Senior Developer Advocate at AWS for Serverless, he is also the CTO of one of the first serverless startups.

We will conclude the night with Paul’s talk titled “The future is serverless or is it?”
