How to build an automated DevOps strategy with containers and Rancher on AWS

The journey to realizing DevOps nirvana in any enterprise is full of obstacles. It has never been more important to implement robust best practices and a well-conceived automation strategy. Join AWS Marketplace and SUSE experts as we explore common pitfalls and outline step by step how to achieve a successful DevOps/GitOps strategy on AWS Marketplace with SUSE Rancher.

The session will cover GitOps and CD best practices including:
• Containers and environment management
• Continuous delivery or deployment

By the end of the talk, you’ll understand the key steps for implementing your very own automated GitOps strategy and powering your journey to the cloud and beyond.

Speaker: Brian Six, SUSE, Certified Kubernetes Administrator and Engineer

Secure Self-Service Cluster Provisioning of EKS clusters Using ACK, Kyverno and Argo CD

As Kubernetes becomes mainstream, platform engineering teams are looking to provide secure self-service infrastructure for developers, with automated guardrails and centralized governance. In this session, Hong Wang, CEO at Akuity, Argo Project co-creator, and Ritesh Patel, VP Products at Nirmata will show how to automate and securely provision Kubernetes clusters and workloads using Amazon EKS, Argo CD, and Kyverno, the Kubernetes Native Policy Engine.

Speakers: Hong Wang, CEO at Akuity, Argo Project co-creator, and Ritesh Patel, Co-founder and VP of Products at Nirmata
