New Year, New Time, New Format, Exciting Times!

As we kick off a new year, I'm looking forward to taking the user group back to Hybrid for 2025! Come along and enjoy networking face-to-face with like-minded professionals in the ACM & Microsoft 365 space.

To start we will be hosted in Sydney but watch this space for those who are based in Adelaide and Brisbane as the year progresses. I'm very excited to kick-off and welcome the new Brisbane Adoption User Group co-hosted by Chris Gecks and Daniel Brown's Microsoft 365 User Group in Adelaide.

Please note, a change in time has kicked in for 2025 so we can be as inclusive as possible to those that wish to join us in person.

For our very first session in 2025, we have a panel of with Australia's impressive MVP talent with a depth and breadth of knowledge talking about Copilot / AI and what we are seeing around Adoption Challenges & Wins. On the panel is the illustrious Sharon Connolly, Daniel Brown, Chris Gecks and hosted by myself, Kirsty McGrath.

SPEAKER BIO's:

Chris Gecks
Chris is a Managing Consultant at CyberCX, Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) that holds over 15 years of experience in the Microsoft ecosystem. Chris specialises in Microsoft 365 and enterprise-level Cloud technologies; with a particular interest in the development, design, and implementation of innovative Cloud solutions that drive digital transformation.
He is a dynamic speaker and an active contributor to the tech community; regularly sharing his knowledge and insights at community events and conferences. His commitment to promoting community engagement and knowledge sharing has made him a trusted voice within the industry and wider tech community. His passion for technology and continuous learning ensures that he stays at the forefront of industry advancements.

Sharon Connolly
Sharon has been guiding organisations through complex transformations for more than 35 years. Through her company, Change Superhero, she provides training and templates for more than 12,000 Change Managers globally. Sharon is the ‘goto’ resource for the change community, with more than 1 million change superhero templates having been downloaded. Her technical skill and community sharing has earned her the prestigious Microsoft MVP award four times.

Daniel Brown
Daniel founded Archon Gnosis in 2009 to address a need for expertise SharePoint, Content and Collaboration experts to assist business make the transition to a modern workplace. He is a 4x's Microsoft MVP, founded the Adelaide SharePoint User Group (2007) with a current member list > 1,000. In 2019, he transitioned the User Group to the Adelaide Office 365 User Group in 2019 and started the Microsoft 365 Copilot Group in Adelaide in 2024. He is an integral part of the South Australia community.
Daniel is a regularly speaker and organiser of events such as the Global Office 365 Developer bootcamp, SharePoint and Office 365 Saturdays. Previously a committee member and Vice Chair of SA, Daniel has been a member of the Australian computer society since 2006.

Kirsty McGrath
Kirsty McGrath is a 7’xs awarded Microsoft MVP, the Founder of the Australian Microsoft 365 Adoption User Groups and Author of the Microsoft 365 Infographic https://bit.ly/M365Wheel. She is a regular speaker at Conferences and User Groups around Adoption, Change Management and Training.

Kirsty leads OnPoint Solutions, a Training & Adoption practice that maximises Microsoft 365’s ROI. Through best practice adoption methodologies, she accelerates team collaboration and communication in the cloud.

Kirsty is a highly experienced Specialist having worked alongside both Clients, Technical Partners and Microsoft, leading businesses through small to large and complex transformation projects.
