With a strong focus on detail and a commitment to excellence, Orestis thrives in creating high-quality systems, demonstrating his technical expertise and leadership skills within software development teams, and guiding fellow software engineers in adopting best practices and processes.

As a Head of Engineering at Code Create, his current role involves guiding and mentoring several engineering teams, evaluating new potential customers for scaling out the company's business, composing of technical proposals for acquiring new projects, being responsible for the technical end-to-end delivery of the new projects and the communication orchestration with the clients.

To broaden his impact, he frequently enhances code samples with insightful GitHub contributions derived from his customer experiences, thereby assisting others in overcoming similar challenges.

In his previous roles, he worked as an Azure Architect for Microsoft, where he accelerated and mitigated risks for Azure deployments at scale, enabling customers to confidently onboard to Azure. He also served as a technical and chapter lead of the corporate web banking product of a major Microsoft's FSI client.
