Azure: Big Data and Analytics

In this months' Azure User Group we will explore Microsoft's cloud based offering for big data and analytics, Azure Databricks. We will utilize the Spark-based analytics platform to walk through the data mining process; feature selection, model fit/creation, and we will utilize the model to predict the outcome of a target variable. All this will be done in Databricks notebooks' utilizing a combination of Python, Scala, and spark libraries.

Jed is the founder and CEO of Triple H Consulting Incorporated, a boutique cloud consultancy which has been engaged by Cap Gemini, Deloitte, Coca-Cola, and others to assist in the adoption of cloud. Jed is passionate about technology and serving his clients. At home Jed is a father of two nine year olds and is currently studying the topic of human performance.
