Tracy has over 30 years of experience as a technology leader. At Microsoft, she leads the Azure Cloud business for US Education (East Region), where she helps K12s, Higher Education Institutions, Academic Medical Centers and ISVs define and realize their digital transformation strategies.  

Before joining Microsoft in 2020, she spent 12 years as a leader in the education space, most recently serving as Chief Technology Officer for University of Maryland Global Campus. Before joining UMGC she served as the Chief Information Officer at American Public University System. 

Prior to her time in higher education, she led global technology service delivery for Sunrise Senior Living, supporting clinical, memory and hospice care for 450 communities around the world. 

Prior to Sunrise Senior Living, she served as Vice President, Internet Businesses for the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative, where she led a national initiative to bring broadband Internet services to rural America. 

She holds a B.S. in Journalism from Boston University and is a Certified Executive Coach.
