 **Impressions of Azure and Power Platform - from data gathering to application development**

This presentation will highlight several things I have developed using Azure and Power Platform and I will give my thoughts on these tools, the good and the bad.

* Azure Data factory pipelines and Power Automate are used to pull financial and project data from our Deltek accounting and CRM systems,
    connecting using ODBC and an API, writing to Azure SQL Server.
    
* Power Automate is used for weekly reporting of project labor charges to each project manager, this same data can be further explored in PowerBI.
    
* Sharepoint site creation is automated using Power Automate, triggered by an entry in a Sharepoint list, that calls a PowerShell Azure Runbook.
    
* We created a vehicle mileage entry application in Power Apps, this is available through Teams.
    
* Power Apps was also used to created our Employee Review process. This encompasses three separate applications and several Power Automate Flows.
