Topic Summary

In this session Paul will go through the data types (Scalar, Record, List, Tables), how to create each from scratch with M code and the creation & application of built in and custom functions.

He gives practical examples of their usage with a crosstab table of data and how to avoid getting an error on import should a new column appear in the pivot using a list.

Overall, it’s about encouraging more confidence around using/adjusting M.
