Power BI Agentic Authoring brings AI agents directly into the Power BI development workflow, enabling them to create, modify, validate, and refine semantic models and reports using natural language. The session explores how the Power BI Authoring Plugin combines modeling and reporting skills with authoring tools to enable end-to-end analytics development. You'll see how the Power BI Authoring MCP server helps agents build and manage semantic models, while Report Authoring Skills can generate new reports, modernize existing ones, and create alternative designs. Learn how AI can become your Power BI development partner, helping you build faster and focus on delivering business value.

Biography

Harleen Kaur is a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft working on Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, with a focus on AI-powered analytics and agentic authoring experiences. She leads initiatives spanning Power BI report authoring, semantic modeling, Copilot experiences, and developer tooling that help customers build analytics solutions faster using AI.
