Abstract:

There is a lot of content available on Synapse for Data Engineering, but what about Machine Learning? In this session we will look at how to Azure Synapse handles Machine Learning and also to integrate a SparkML model in Synapse.

Speaker Bio:

Terry is the Director of Artificial Intelligence for Advancing Analytics and Microsoft Artificial Intelligence MVP. His focus is on all things AI and Data Science. Terry has a passion for applying traditional Software Engineering techniques to Data, to improve the way teams deliver Machine Learning projects. Terry holds an Masters degree in Machine Learning and is continually interested in the application of academic research in industry. Terry is the host of the popular podcast Data Science in Production, where he interviews leading Data Scientists. His spare time is spent with his wife and two boys in their home in Devon.
