Session Title: Native Write-Back in Fabric: How to build Translytical Task Flows for Power BI

Description:
Have you ever wanted to add data entry and write-back functionality to your Power BI Reports?
Perhaps you've wanted to add comments to data points, allow users to input new data entries, or perform master data management tasks?
Translytical Task Flows in Fabric & Power BI allows you to do all of the above and much more, natively within the platform, without needing licenses for external solutions.
In this session we will cover the following essential building blocks for Translytical Task Flows:
- How to create User Data Functions in Fabric for interacting with your backend.
- How to trigger your Functions from Power BI
- How to provide the best possible User Experience in Power BI, by using slicers and inputs to parameterize your write-back actions.
- Pros, Cons and Limitations, also in comparison with other write-back solutions (Power Apps, 3rd party solutions).
The session will teach you all of the above through the case of a Comment/Annotation write-back solution, which you after this session will easily be able to build for your own Power BI reports.
