Microsoft Testing Stuff Sprint 6

Details

Hello everyone,

Off the back of another interesting and insightful Meetup, I'm delighted to announce that Microsoft Testing Stuff Sprint 6 will be taking place on the 22nd of September.

I am delighted to announce that our first speaker will be, Giles Davies, Developer Tools Technical Specialist at Microsoft. Giles’s session is titled, “Updates, updates, updates; what’s new in Visual Studio testing?” Giles explains, “Since the Visual Studio 2013 release there have been 3 updates and 18 Visual Studio Online releases, so what I’d like to do in this session is highlight some of the key changes that relate to testing. This will include updates to the web access test hub such as the grid view, copy and paste with Excel, trend reports, the addition of tags to test cases, test plan and suite customisation and change tracking, new permissions, shared parameters, test artefact export and some changes in licencing that should provide greater accessibility such as adding the Test hub to the advanced Visual Studio Online licence and the new Stakeholder licence”.

We have managed to secure another top speaker for MTS Sprint 6. We will be joined by Simon Reindl from Agility in Mind. Simon's session is called "Testing in an Agile world". Simon will be giving a quick exploration of the who, what, when, where and why of testing in an agile world. There will also be time at the end for questions.
