This one-day tour pairs the Kreeger Museum, a former gated residence off of Foxhall Road, designed by architect Philip Johnson, and now home to a wonderful Impressionist collection, sculpture, and modern art -- with the Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens, home to Marjorie Merriweather Post's eclectic collections of French decorative arts, Russian icons and Fabergé creations and select pieces from Ms. Post's own jewelry collection. Hillwood also has many greenspaces thoughtfully designed as a Japanese-style garden, French Parterre and many other places for reflection. We will have the chance to visit them all.
