Join Mid-Hudson Sierra Club for a GOTV (Get Out The Vote) postcard writing event! Sending old-fashioned post cards has proven to be extremely effective in motivating people to go to the polls and vote. We'll be writing postcards to registered voters who are likely to support Sierra Club endorsed, environmental friendly candidates in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Ohio. Meet and greet fellow activists and environmentalists over a beer and a nosh. Mix and mingle while we write postcards and enjoy ourselves. Sierra Club will order some pizzas, attendees can order themselves a nice local craft beer.
