If “yes”, then this is the event for you. The Allen Neighborhood Center is sponsoring a pasta making class by Chef Lorinda Torrez at their incubator kitchen. Details about the event specifics are here.

Hope to cook with you then!
- Pastrami Love?STATESIDE DELI, Okemos, MI
I have great love for Katz’s Deli in NYC. Whenever I am in the city, I make sure to go there for their glorious reuben and matzo ball soup! This place may not be NYC, but it does have those 1000 layer sandwiches with yummy spiced meats and kraut and Swiss. But if you are a vegetarian/vegan, do not fear. Stateside Deli also has avocado toast, falafel, vegan sandwiches, and more. Just check out their menu and decide to meet your fellow foodies on a Sunday for lunch :)
- MK Ultra? Or MK Pho?MK Pho Asian Cuisine, Lansing, MI
MK Pho, the relatively new place in Lansing that serves up a short but tasty menu of pho, pad thai, laab, and more, has a name that reminds me of the old (and horrid) CIA program MK Ultra. We can remake that bad memory from the past in the form of tasty bowls of hot broth, laab in all its glory, and more.
Note that this event is on a Thursday, which will be the new evening date for dinner until December 2025. But do not fear if you cannot make it, we will be holding more weekend events to make up for it :)
