SUNDAY ~7mile moderate hike in beautiful Foothills Preserve & lunch at ALICE's

9AM START. BE ON TIME. BRING $5 PARK ENTRANCE FEE. NO DOGS ALLOWED.

PARKING
Meet at in the Orchard Glenn Grove parking lot meeting point(GPS location 37.36148409278348, -122.18278430021783). Reasonable amount of parking there but come early to be sure.

DETAILS
Los Trancos Trail to Fern Loop Trail is a 7.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Los Altos, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. Dogs aren't allowed in the park on weekends. Nice partly sunny day in store for a hike!

WHAT TO EXPECT
The first ~1 miles we will ascend ~400ft continuously, then next ~2 miles we ~level off, then ~1.5miles ascend 600ft, then finally descend back to the car. The hike is mostly shaded with parts unshaded. It is expected to be a nice day in upper 70s. So be prepared, wear layers and bring water!
