Wheeler Bay & White Island Light paddle

Our put-in is at the Hurricane Island Outward Bound location, 113 Marina Road, Spruce Head. Follow the road to the ramp, unload, and park back at the entrance.
Kayakers must have the skills necessary to paddle safely in calm to challenging sea conditions caused by tides, currents, and winds of up to 10 mph; must be able to complete a self or assisted rescue.
Sea kayak, spray skirt, water pump, paddle float, paddles, PFD, whistle, clothes appropriate for the weather, water, and all medications, prescribed or OTC, that may be needed while with the group are required. Not required, but highly recommended, compass and appropriate marine chart.
