🥾 Yeramba Lagoon Loop — 4 km, ~1 Hour — Gentle Bushwalk & Fresh Air Break
Hosted by: Juliet Kathleen — Sydney bushwalker & meetup host for all nature lovers out there!
When: Thursday 2.10.2025- 11:00am-12:00pm
Meeting point: Yeramba Lagoon car park (off Henry Lawson Drive) — opposite the national park river
Distance & Duration: ~4 km, about 1 hour
Pace: Easy to easy-moderate — relaxed, social, no one left behind
Suggested contribution: Free / small donation or “bring a treat to share” (optional)
We’ll take a relaxed walk along the Yeramba Lagoon loop track, surrounded by bushland and plenty of birdlife. The path is mostly flat with no steep climbs, making it suitable for all fitness levels. Very beautiful scenery and the occasional wildlife.
What to bring & prep:
- Comfortable walking shoes or trainers
- 1 litre water (or more — feel free to top up if possible)
- Hat, sunscreen, light layers
- Optional snack
- Phone for pictures & emergency
- A warm smile & good company
If there’s light rain, we’ll still go (unless heavy storms). I’ll send a confirmation + weather update the day before.
Why join:
- Fresh air + nature = brain reboot
- Chance to connect with like-minded people (especially for remote workers, folks staying at home)
- Gentle, manageable length — no pressure.
RSVP (so I know who’s coming). I’ll send you the exact meeting pin, walk logistics, safety tips. On the day, arrive ~10 minutes early so we can start together on time. I cap groups between 8 and 14 people to keep it comfortable and friendly.
I’d love to see you on the track. Let me know if you have any questions or accessibility considerations.
