The original Middle Aged and Awesome fell apart when the organizer moved away, so this is the new Middle Aged and Awesome. Middle Aged and Awesome....2! Just look at how much fun those women in the stock photo are having - that could be us!
Whether you have annoying hot flashes, occasional mood swings that make prison a real possibility, or you are smooth sailing through your middle years - let's hang out! Making friends in middle age can be hard!
This group is for women only who are looking to relate to other women, try something out (or in) your comfort zone, or just get out of the house. No judgments, everyone welcome.
I'll get things started, but anyone who wants to organize something is welcome to do so. :-)
I didn't know it, but Meetup charges a fee to run a group, so I will be asking $2 to join to cover costs. (Note: I only receive about $1.25 because of the exorbitant processing fees)
