Hi to you, prospective new Member !
The purpose of this social group is for women and men, both locals and ex 'mainlanders’ to come together, build new friendships, have fun. You could be a couple or single, everyone welcome. Events will include things like breakfasts, Friday after work drinks, trivia, mid week value meals, Saturday night dinner and Sunday live music, etc. This and that. Pick and choose from week to week in regard to what might suit you and suggestions always welcome, or why not offer to host an event. All you need is a sense of humour and a desire to contribute to conversations. Laughing a must. Please note: this is not a hook up group and those who make others uncomfortable in that way may be asked to leave.
GET INVOLVED...BECOME AN EVENT HOST! If you are interested in becoming an EVENT HOST please drop us a line! we are seeking Event Organisers to host drink nights, games nights, sporting activities, Tuesday movies, trivia, dinners, book club, nature walks/hikes, weeknight activities etc etc.
Member Fees
We charge a $10 per year membership fee just to cover the costs of the Meetup subscription, which we will collect at the start of a new year.
For new members who join partway through the year, we'll collect after you've attended one or two events.
